Job Description:

A medical center in Bellflower, California is seeking an Oncology Nurse Practitioner to cover a vacancy. The expected patient volume is approximately 12–15 patients per day.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinating patient communication
  • Managing testing and medication refills
  • Ordering oncology-related diagnostics
  • Performing pre-chemotherapy evaluations
  • Performing bone marrow biopsies
  • Supporting patient care through a mix of outpatient, inpatient, and virtual coverage
  • Follow‑up patients + some new patient visits
  • Coordinate emails, testing, refills
  • Oncology test ordering
  • Pre‑chemo patient evaluations
  • Bone marrow biopsies
  • Some inpatient & virtual coverage

Requirements:

  • Active California Nurse Practitioner License
  • BLS Certification
  • Board Certified
  • Proficiency in EPIC preferred
