Job Description:

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring an Oncology Nurse Practitioner to fill a vacancy in Portland, OR. These positions are 6-month locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct follow-up visits for oncology patients at 3-, 6-, and 12-month intervals
  • Manage care for patients currently undergoing treatment (depending on provider scope)
  • Coordinate with ancillary services via email and internal communication platforms
  • Order oncology-related tests, labs, and imaging as needed
  • Review and refill prescriptions in accordance with treatment plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as clinically appropriate
  • Provide education and support to patients and families regarding ongoing treatment

Requirements:

  • Active OR Nurse Practitioner License
  • Board Certified
  • COVID vaccine and one booster required
