As our Navigator RN, you will serve as a compassionate guide and advocate, empowering patients and their families to seamlessly navigate complex healthcare journeys. Every day you will proactively engage with patients and their families, conducting thorough assessments of their clinical, psychosocial, and practical needs, and identifying potential obstacles to their care plan progression. You will meticulously coordinate appointments, facilitate communication between multidisciplinary care providers, educate patients on their diagnosis and treatment options, and connect them with vital community resources and support systems. To be successful in this role, you will leverage your robust clinical expertise and empathetic communication skills to build trust, alleviate anxieties, and empower patients to actively participate in their care decisions. You will collaborate seamlessly with physicians, specialists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, acting as a central point of contact and ensuring cohesive care delivery.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Two (2) years of professional nursing experience in Oncology
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing
Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification
Certification by the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) as one of the following, within one (1) year of hire, depending on the disease site(s) supported by the incumbent: Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Certified Breast Care Nurse (CBCN), Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP), Advanced Oncology Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist (AOCNS), Blood & Marrow Transplant Certified Nurse (BMTCN), Certified Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse (CPHON), Certified Pediatric Oncology Nurse (CPON)
Strong problem-solving skills, particularly with respect to addressing barriers to care and navigating patients through their care progression
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Nice to have:
Master's degree in Nursing or related field
Previous Oncology RN Navigator experience
