Oncology Massage Therapist

The primary function of the clinician is to provide evidence-based clinical massage therapy services in Cancer Patient Support Center. The incumbent will work collaboratively with our team of physicians, advanced practice providers, a and other therapists. Responsible for ensuring that all clinic regulations are followed for treatment protocol as well as privacy. Follow all the guidelines and regulations of Miami Cancer Institute. The massage therapist will ensure that all billing procedures and appropriate codes are applied for any services offered in the clinic setting. This position will also be responsible for developing and expanding the massage therapy practice within Miami Cancer Institute. This will include rounding in the treatment areas and presentations to colleagues and departments within the Institute as well as to the public. This position will complete appropriate training as available and required.
