Job Description

As our Clinic Medical Assistant, you'll keep the day running smoothly and efficiently for your patients and clinical team. Every day, you will take the lead on proactively preparing patient charts, ensuring all information is obtained and up-to-date for those seen in our facility. You can expect to have multiple patients daily depending on the number of physicians are on-site. Your success in this role comes from your enthusiasm to help others, work efficiently, and your empathy for our patients.

Job Responsibility

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (or military medical specialty training)
  • Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant by the Washington State Nursing Commission
  • Current healthcare provider BLS certification

  • Active License issued by the state in which the team member practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 45 days unless department leader has determined it is not required

  • Monitors and completes Clinical Integration/ Quality Improvement measures with notification to clinician for opportunities within their scope

  • Assists the Physician/ Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) with procedures such as pelvic exams, allergy scratch testing, EMG, cautery, colposcopy, etc
