Job Description:

RN Case Manager role part of Aetna One Advocacy (A1A) providing high-touch, high-tech member advocacy service combining data-driven processes with clinical expertise for oncology patients in a fully integrated population health and customer service solution

Job Responsibility:

Telephonically and/or face to face assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating all case management activities
Develop proactive course of action to address issues presented
Evaluate member's needs and benefit plan eligibility
Apply clinical judgment to incorporate strategies designed to reduce risk factors
Review prior claims to address potential impact on current case management
Consult with supervisor and others in overcoming barriers
Utilize case management processes in compliance with regulatory requirements
Utilize interviewing skills to ensure maximum member engagement

Requirements:

Registered Nurse with unrestricted license in state of residence
Multi-state/compact license privileges preferred
Willingness to obtain all 50 state licenses upon hire
2+ years of clinical practice experience as RN working specifically with oncology patients
Live within commutable distance of High Point, NC (typically within 45 minutes maximum)
Associates Degree in Nursing required

Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)
Certified Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse (CPHON)
Certified Breast Care Nurse (CBCN)
Blood & Marrow Transplant Certified Nurse (BMTCN)
Case Management in an integrated model
Certified Case Manager (CCM) certification
BSN degree
