The Onboarding and Training Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the end-to-end onboarding and training process for employees and staff transfers working on the project, ensuring all individuals meet security, compliance, competence, and client requirements prior to commencing work.
Job Responsibility:
Support the Training and Skills Manager with organisation of internal and external training requirements in line with company and client standards
Provide accurate joining instructions to candidates attending training programmes and ensure appropriate resources are available
Ensure all training bookings, communications, and attendance are managed efficiently and in a timely manner
Upload and maintain training certificates and records against individual delegate profiles
Manage the end-to-end BPSS vetting process, including collecting, verifying, submitting, and tracking documentation
Liaise with employees, HR, and external agencies to ensure timely completion of vetting and onboarding activities
Maintain accurate records and track progress to ensure compliance with nuclear site regulations
Ensure all personal and sensitive data is handled in accordance with GDPR and security requirements
Support internal and external training and compliance audits, ensuring documentation is accurate, accessible, and up to date
Work collaboratively with onboarding teams to support competence, qualification, and compliance requirements across the project
Requirements:
Experience working on large, complex, or highly regulated projects
Previous experience coordinating high volumes of training
Competent user of Microsoft Office applications with the ability to adapt to new systems
Proven ability to build effective working relationships within large organisations
