As an Onboarding Specialist at Range, you will be on the front lines of the member experience, guiding new members through their first interactions with our product and ensuring a seamless, confident start to their financial journey. You’ll help members set up their Range membership, connect financial accounts, and complete onboarding steps so they can quickly begin realizing value from the platform. This role blends customer education, problem-solving, and relationship-building. You’ll act as a trusted guide for members, helping them navigate both technical setup and financial questions, while working closely with internal teams to continuously improve the onboarding experience.
Job Responsibility:
Guide new members through the end-to-end onboarding process, including account setup, financial account connections, and initial product walkthroughs
Serve as a primary point of contact for onboarding-related questions via phone, video, chat, and email
Clearly explain complex financial and technical concepts in a way that feels approachable and empowering for members
Troubleshoot issues related to account connections, data syncing, and onboarding workflows, ensuring timely resolution
Proactively identify friction points in the onboarding experience and partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations to improve processes
Build strong relationships with members by delivering a white-glove, high-touch onboarding experience
Maintain accurate documentation and notes to ensure smooth handoffs and long-term member success
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role such as onboarding, customer success, support, account management, or client services
BS or BA required
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with confidence speaking directly with customers
Strong problem-solving instincts and the ability to stay calm and empathetic when members encounter challenges
Comfort working with technology and troubleshooting issues across digital tools and platforms
Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple member interactions simultaneously
Nice to have:
Experience in fintech, financial services, SaaS, or a startup environment is a plus
