The Preboarding Operations Lead is responsible for delivering a seamless, compliant, and engaging onboarding experience for new team members across Baptist Health. This role oversees preboarding operations, compliance tracking, and New Team Member Orientation while partnering with Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Compliance, Employee Health, and operational leaders to ensure new hires are prepared and connected from day one.
Job Responsibility
Oversee onboarding and preboarding workflows to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency
Monitor requirements including I-9s, E-Verify, background checks, licensure verification, and health clearances
Coordinate and facilitate New Team Member Orientation (NTMO)
Track onboarding metrics, candidate and hiring manager feedback, and executive referral activity
Identify process improvement opportunities and support cross-functional onboarding initiatives
Develop onboarding resources and operational guidance for leaders and recruiters
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
3+ years of experience in onboarding, HR operations, compliance coordination, or related field
Healthcare or regulated industry experience preferred
Knowledge of onboarding compliance processes and HR systems such as Workday preferred
Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and facilitation skills
