Marston Holdings Limited has an exciting opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic Onboarding Administrator to join our Internal Central Talent team. You will play a key role in delivering a smooth and professional onboarding experience, acting as an ambassador for our brand and values. This role requires strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high volume of tasks in line with service level agreements. From offer through to induction, you will be the main point of contact for new starters and internal moves, managing the full onboarding administration process. This includes coordinating pre-employment checks and issuing offer letters and contracts, ensuring all onboarding activities are completed efficiently and accurately.
Job Responsibility:
Managing onboarding and employment screening for new joiners, proactively managing queries and escalations relating to the offers and screening process
Being the point of contact for any DBS/Disclosure Scotland/AccessNI checks with unclear results
Maintaining knowledge and understanding of current legislation impacting upon recruitment
Actively supporting the Recruitment team in dealing with internal and external candidate onboarding queries
Collaborating with the Recruitment team and wider People and Organisational Development team to review and recommend improvements on our onboarding and recruitment policy and process
Update and maintain employee personnel files within the HR systems
Supporting the Onboarding Manager with a variety of strategic resourcing projects as and when required
Requirements:
Previous experience working within a talent or onboarding environment
Experience and understanding of Applicant Tracking/HR/Vetting systems such as Talos360, PeopleXD and Certn
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively balance conflicting priorities whilst keeping to tight deadlines
Excellent attention to detail
IT literacy with excellent Microsoft Office skills and ideally intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of MS Excel
Ability to work independently and as part of a team applying self-motivation and using own initiative
