Job Description

We are looking for a versatile and service-minded IT Engineer for an onsite role at our customer's office in Brisbane. You'll get an interesting and varied role as you support our clients daily IT operations, serve as a local point of contact of our customers, and coordinate support with our service desk and Engineers. If you have broad general IT knowledge and perhaps also experience supporting Azure and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (Citrix) you may be who we are looking for.

Job Responsibility

  • Independently or as a team, operate and maintain existing HPD / VDI / Citrix environments
  • Independently or as a team, contributing to solving O365 incidents and changes
  • Updating and patching applications, middleware and Windows OS
  • Contributing to solving tickets in Service Now
  • Certificate, licence and event handling
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and problem solving
  • Ownership of customer's ticket queue in ServiceNow
  • Coordination and alignment with our Operations team and customer's on-site service desk
  • Documentation and the creation/maintenance of knowledge articles
  • Collaborate with other teams and support internal project work when required
  • Proactively identifying ways to improve the customer and user experience

Requirements

  • At least a few years experience in IT service coordination and support, ideally working with Azure and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (Citrix)
  • Service-oriented and committed with a strong sense of ownership
  • Take pride in delivering great quality and good customer experience
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A team player and contribute to knowledge transfer and competence development
  • Higher relevant degree is preferred, but experience/skills may compensate for lack of formal qualifications
  • Full fluency in English is a requirement
