Under general supervision, fulfills customer orders accurately and in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction: primary contribution is processing orders for customers and selling Motion Industries’ assets. This position works more than 50% of the time at the customer location.
Job Responsibility:
Process orders for customers and sell Motion Industries’ assets
Order items to ensure appropriate inventory levels for Consignment customers
Source products in branch, Distribution Center, or supplier inventory
Influence Gross Profit through negotiating sale and purchase prices
Proactively generate sales by promoting products to existing customers
Respond to customer inquiries, provide quotes, and take orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods or walk-in
Expedite backorders
Handle customer returns
Adjust non-contract customer pricing
Minimize Branch freight cost
Interact with customers and suppliers
Partner with Account Representatives
Assist customer by troubleshooting via telephone or email
Requirements:
Typically requires a high school diploma or GED
Customer service and communication skills required
Ability to multi-task and time management skills required
Moderate computer skills, including information processing, communicating internally and externally via email, using business systems and searching capabilities to find products on the internet
Good driving record required
Reliability, organization, and attention to detail required
