The On-Call Server Assistant supports the dining experience by assisting Food Servers and ensuring the smooth flow of service. This role helps prepare dining areas for guests, delivers high‑quality support throughout service, and responds promptly to guest needs. The Food Runner is part of the Restaurant & Bar team and reports to the Restaurant & Bar Leadership.
Job Responsibility:
Set and maintain clean, well‑prepared tables and service areas, providing water, bread, and butter in alignment with Four Seasons Standards
Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
Restock linens, glassware, silver, and basic food items
assist with simple preparation such as toast, soup, or beverages
Set up, break down, and clean buffets and food stations
Collaborate with team members to support smooth service flow
Assist with taking or delivering orders and seating guests when needed
Requirements:
One year of food service or related hospitality experience
High school education or equivalent experience
Ability to carry and balance trays safely and confidently
Strong teamwork, reliability, and a guest‑focused mindset
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment with attention to detail
