About the Role: The On Call In-Room Dining Coordinator supports the Food & Beverage team by delivering exceptional guest service through accurate order taking, clear communication with the kitchen, and timely coordination of in-room dining and amenities. This role ensures every guest interaction reflects Four Seasons standards and enhances the overall guest experience.

Job Responsibility

  • Answer guest calls using professional, courteous telephone etiquette while accurately capturing all order details
  • Describe menu items with clear, engaging explanations of ingredients, preparation methods, and flavors
  • Enter and communicate orders (including special requests) to the kitchen using the POS system and verify accuracy
  • Coordinate timely delivery of in-room dining orders to ensure quality and guest satisfaction
  • Monitor guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and resolve concerns with urgency and care
  • Coordinate amenity deliveries from order placement through execution, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Support minibar replenishment and related communication processes
  • Maintain accurate billing, including closing checks and recording charges and gratuities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a luxury hotel, food & beverage, or related environment (preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially over the telephone
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Solid computer skills and familiarity with POS systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle guest concerns effectively
