About the Role: The On Call In-Room Dining Coordinator supports the Food & Beverage team by delivering exceptional guest service through accurate order taking, clear communication with the kitchen, and timely coordination of in-room dining and amenities. This role ensures every guest interaction reflects Four Seasons standards and enhances the overall guest experience.
Job Responsibility
Answer guest calls using professional, courteous telephone etiquette while accurately capturing all order details
Describe menu items with clear, engaging explanations of ingredients, preparation methods, and flavors
Enter and communicate orders (including special requests) to the kitchen using the POS system and verify accuracy
Coordinate timely delivery of in-room dining orders to ensure quality and guest satisfaction
Monitor guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and resolve concerns with urgency and care
Coordinate amenity deliveries from order placement through execution, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Support minibar replenishment and related communication processes
Maintain accurate billing, including closing checks and recording charges and gratuities
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience in a luxury hotel, food & beverage, or related environment (preferred)
Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially over the telephone
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Solid computer skills and familiarity with POS systems
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle guest concerns effectively
