Job Description

As an Omnichannel Content Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our content creation in the relevant channels in Japan. You will play a crucial role in driving content creation, developing and executing content plans that align with our business/brand objectives and engage our target audiences. The Omnichannel Content Manager is a dynamic position working very closely with the CCMs and marketing teams

Job Responsibility

  • Plan and produce engaging visual and written content for portals, email campaigns, and social media
  • Localize global/regional brand content to meet Japan’s digital and regulatory requirements
  • Adapt content for platforms like LINE, RTE, and Salesforce integrations
  • Implement and manage digital campaigns, including web editing and social media
  • Track performance metrics and optimize content based on analytics
  • Reuse and repurpose high-quality content across channels and markets
  • Use GenAI tools to accelerate content creation, including translation and layout finalization
  • Create content from source materials using GenAI, Adobe Suite, and internal platforms like CANVAS
  • Participate in pilot programs to test new AI functionalities and workflows
  • Ensure content complies with medical, legal, and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with medical reviewers and brand teams to align messaging
  • Avoid conflicts of interest by separating creation, review, and approval roles
  • Work within content studios to manage high-volume, fast-turnaround content (e.g., EDMs, banners)
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to orchestrate customer journeys and improve processes
  • Operate in agile environments with tagging, project management, and cross-functional governance
  • Scrum master of the Japan Content Studio

Requirements

  • Relevant degree education (e.g. marketing, communication, business or equivalent)
  • Strong experience within digital marketing and content creation
  • Understand and have basic knowledge of marketing automation
  • Hands-on experience on creating newsletters and website content
  • editing copy, optimizing campaigns, photo editing, layout and design
  • Expertise in social media campaign execution and optimization
  • Experience in website analytics tools and website CMS (Drupal, Wordpress, etc.)
  • Expertise in the Adobe Suite (Canva, Abobe Creative Cloud)
  • Story telling skills within different content formats
  • Proven track record in ability to work and multi-task under pressure, respond quickly to changing situations in complex project environments, prepare responses/narrative quickly and clearly and use personal initiative
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical marketing compliance requirements of the market is a must
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical business and key business drivers
  • Proactive and self-directive mindset
  • Fluency in Japanese required
  • English optional but highly desired

  • Operationalize the handoff from approved core / supplemental messaging to modular adaptation by defining the source claim, audience, barrier, module, channel-use rule, required assets, downstream touchpoints, measurement tag, expiration / refresh rule, and MAC submission readiness for each content component
  • Create a structured feedback loop with GCCI Primary Market Research, CSS, PCP Promo, Analytics, Search / GEO, Field, agencies, and paid media partners so PMR insights, rapid message testing, customer language, and performance learnings are incorporated into future JIBs, MAC matrices, content refreshes, and modular messaging decisions
  • Serve as the commercial business owner for AI-enabled content supply requirements, partnering with GCCI, AI&D, Enterprise Content, AIN, Adobe Content Supply Chain, MAC, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, Privacy, agencies, and platform teams on tools that streamline content creation, modular reuse, claims readiness, metadata, submission readiness, and MAC-ready review workflows
  • Reinvent the MAC-ready content intake model by designing modular submission packages, claims-linked content components, and AI-assisted pre-check workflows that help AI-generated or AI-assisted draft content enter review with clear human accountability, approved source material, and channel-specific use rules
  • Manage the CV / Repatha content budget and partner with agency, finance, procurement, GCCI Content Strategy, Enterprise Content, GSC, and AIN partners to align content capacity, investment, quality, timelines, and resourcing
  • Teach, enable, govern, and operationalize modern content platforms and ways of working across enterprise content supply chain capabilities
