As we continue being 'Here for you’, we’re looking for a OMEX Leader to join our Production & manufacturing team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build credibility on Ontex´ way of working through direct, personal engagement with leaders and employees
  • Coaching and driving different departments throughout OMEX systems implementations including escalating identified roadblocks to management and OMEX team
  • Enabling and leading the vision development process and plan deployment through the OGSM methodology in line with business objectives and with the support of the OMEX transversal expert
  • Support capability building specially for system owners and enables the PDCA implementations
  • Structurally drive and role-model the loss elimination methodologies to resolve problems (technical or org)
  • Ensure proper standardization not only within the plant walls but also with the Ontex network
  • Build their own capability to be the OMEX expert on the floor for the plant
  • Mentor employees on the tools and methodologies to obtain results through proper presence on the floor, analysis and KPI/API linkage after implementation
  • Ensure people are properly trained and tools are linked to job descriptions
  • Owning and driving different drum beats: Daily rituals, weekly analysis, reviews with management, benchmarking
  • Continuously communicate with group OMEX leaders (plant coach and specific workstream leaders) to ensure feedback and regular improvement to the plant processes and methodologies
  • Triggering self-assessment for the target OMEX phase, pulls the OMEX experts for calibration and manages the agendas to ensure proper validation and qualification
  • Owns the level and depth of OMEX implementation within the organization

Requirements:

  • Education: Industrial, process or related engineering
  • Experience of minimum 5 years in continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Preferably, 10 yrs experience in production, out of which 5yrs in people management roles
  • Must have previous experience with certain loss elimination tools (Incident Elimination, root cause problem solving, 5S, Autonomous maintenance methodologies)
  • Preferably qualified/certified on one of the Lean/TPM/six sigma programs or equivalent
