Job Description:

We are working with a company that are internationally recognised in what they do and are helping millions of people around the world live a better life. Due to continued growth in their Digital Workforce team, they are looking to add an Okta Engineer to help with the workload. The successful candidate will be the dedicated day-to-day operator for Okta, with secondary Entra ID responsibilities. You will own the access provisioning queue, lifecycle operations, group management, and tier 2 troubleshooting across approximately 14,000 active users and 385 Okta applications.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own the daily Okta operations queue: user lifecycle, group membership, app assignments, application assignment troubleshooting
  • Execute scheduled access reviews and group membership audits
  • Maintain and troubleshoot SCIM provisioning to downstream applications
  • Entra group administration (static and dynamic)
  • Conditional Access policy exception handling (not policy design)
  • Self-Service Password Reset operations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years production Okta administrator experience (not Okta user – administrator)
  • Minimum 2 years Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) administration
  • Working knowledge of SAML, OIDC, and SCIM protocols – able to diagnose failed app integrations, read logs, recommend fixes
  • PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API for bulk operations and reporting
  • Jira ticket handling with strong SLA discipline
  • Being Okta Certified would be bonus
