Job Description

Perdue AgriBusiness has an opening for an Oil Refinery Operator position in Salisbury, MD. This position will be responsible for operating oil refinery production equipment meeting the quality and productivity requirements that ensure on time supply of safe products to the customer. This position requires 12-hour rotational shifts with Growth Potential. The working schedule allows you to work 14-days per month including two weekends.

Job Responsibility

  • Performs all work within safety and environmental guidelines established by local, state, and federal agencies as well as company policies
  • Operate forklift, track mobile, pallet jack and tractor/trailer to load, unload and move supplies
  • Operate refining, bleaching and deodorization production process
  • Operate the palm bleaching production process
  • Load out refined edible oil
  • Conducts quality and food safety checks, as established by company policies and procedures
  • Performs routine preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on operating equipment
  • Performs general labor, housekeeping and sanitation responsibilities as required
  • Maintains daily records and logs

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent
  • 0 -2 years of related work experience
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Strong reading, writing, math and analytical skills
  • Experience operating machinery
