We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to lead the establishment and growth of our Western Australia operations within the marine sector. This role is responsible for developing market presence, driving revenue growth, and building strong client relationships across key industries. This is a pivotal position for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and is excited by the opportunity to build and scale a regional operation from the ground up.
Job Responsibility
Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across Western Australia
Build and maintain a robust pipeline across marine, industrial, and related sectors
Deliver consistent revenue growth and achieve/exceed sales targets
Develop tailored solutions for clients based on operational and technical needs
Lead the entry and growth strategy for the WA market
Identify key industry sectors, projects, and partnership opportunities
Establish a strong local presence and brand reputation within the marine and offshore industries
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, contractors, and stakeholders
Act as a trusted advisor and senior point of contact for major accounts
Ensure high levels of service delivery and long-term client retention
Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with broader business objectives
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
Provide insights to support pricing, positioning, and service offering development
Support the recruitment and development of a local team as the WA operation expands
Contribute to building a high-performance, results-driven sales culture
Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM reporting
Provide regular updates on sales performance, opportunities, and risks
Work closely with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives
Requirements
Proven experience in a senior sales or business development role, ideally within marine, offshore, industrial, or related sectors
Strong knowledge of the Western Australia market and key industry players
Demonstrated success in generating new business and driving revenue growth
Ability to operate autonomously and build a market presence from the ground up
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building capability
Resilient, self-motivated, and results-oriented
