Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as a positive representation of Heritage Cooperative's Core Values

  • Abide by all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers and customers
  • Complete driver logs, pre and post trip forms, invoices, and other paperwork as required
  • Conduct proper handling, hooking, and unhooking of hoses
  • Operate pumps and valves for loading and unloading, both on and off the truck
  • Perform pre and post trip truck and trailer inspections
  • Load and unload fuel
  • Fill tanks of all types and sizes using various size hoses, nozzles, and fittings
  • Utilize pipe wrenches, crescent wrenches, hammers, and other hand tools
  • Work as team member to properly fuel customer equipment
  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license, with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to frequently stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to frequently lift heavy objects no more than 75 pounds
  • Ability to occasionally crawl, stoop, kneel, climb and/or balance
  • Willing to work extended hours and weekends with overnight stays
  • Willing to work various weather elements including cold, heat, wind, rain, etc.
