Job Description:

The OhioRISE Data Analyst acts as a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems, as well as the enhancement of existing systems. This person evaluates new applications and identifies systems requirements, while also evaluating new IT developments and evolving business requirements, recommending appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements. They will also prepare communications and make presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives.

Job Responsibility:

Act as a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems, as well as the enhancement of existing systems
Evaluate new applications and identify systems requirements
Evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements, recommending appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements
Prepare communications and make presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives

Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in data analytics, with the ability to understand and analyze complex data, assimilate data into presentations, and communicate data to various stakeholders
2+ years of SQL experience, with a strong understanding of crafting SQL queries
Must reside in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, or Michigan
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time within the state of Ohio
Master's degree

Nice to have:

Resides in Ohio
5+ years of experience in data analytics
Previous experience with other, non-SQL coding languages
Awareness of problem solving and decision-making skills
Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams to understand data needs, and execute strategies for performance enhancement based on data trends
Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, and Quickbase
