Job Description:

The role involves offshore structural analysis using global structural models and detailed finite-element models. Responsibilities include regulatory checks, reinforcement design, preparation of calculation reports, and data transfer for drawing production.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform structural modelling using global analysis tools
  • Build detailed 3D finite-element models using ABAQUS or equivalent software
  • Carry out regulatory structural checks for lifting, transport, installation, and in-place conditions
  • Design necessary reinforcements or structural modifications
  • Prepare calculation reports summarizing analyses
  • Transfer validated data for drafting and drawing production
  • Apply project procedures, engineering rules, and documentation workflows
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines

Requirements:

  • Experience in suction-anchor design and structural assessment
  • Knowledge of subsea installation principles
  • Familiarity with ISO and DNV structural standards
  • Proficiency with offshore structural analysis software (e.g., ABAQUS, NSO-type tools)
  • Ability to follow structured documentation and compliance procedures
  • Technical English skills
  • Minimum 2 years as a structural engineer on EPC projects involving suction-anchor systems
