This position will oversee Dutch offshore assets, ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of crews as well as environmental standards. Operations must adhere to rules and regulations, and the role will assume responsibility as emergency response leader during incidents. The position includes comprehensive management of offshore maintenance and operations, supporting safety leadership and regulatory compliance across multiple substations.
Job Responsibility
Prepare and manage safe maintenance operations on cable systems and platforms for personnel and partners
Coordinate offshore and onshore operational activities
Ensure compliance with legislation and SHE rules for all personnel involved
Administer Permit To Access and Permit To Work systems for safe operations, including lockouts and tag outs
Carry out work according to required nomination standards (Werkverantwoordelijke)
Lead first-line response during operational disruptions
Act as on-site Emergency Leader, maintaining communication with Crisis Manager
Share knowledge to enhance operational readiness of upcoming assets
Participate in grid connection system management steering team based on suitability
Requirements
Proven ability as an established and accepted safety leader, able to guide multi-cultural teams in normal and emergency contexts
Proficiency in planning, organizing, coordinating, and reporting maintenance and repairs across disciplines
Experience with switching operations in high voltage installations, in line with Offshore Electrical Safety standards
Technical background in electrical (LV, HV, GIS) and mechanical systems relevant to offshore installations
Language skills in Dutch and English, verbal and written, minimum B2 level
Experience with offshore operations, ship/helicopter access, lifting, and cargo handling
Understand and apply occupational safety and environmental protection requirements
Knowledge of offshore regulatory conditions and legislation
Successful completion of offshore medical examination and required trainings (GWO, MOME)
