Job Description:

The Offshore Data Tester role involves designing and executing test plans for data validation, focusing on ETL processes and data pipelines. Job Responsibility:

Design and execute test plans for validating data pipelines, ETL processes, and data transformations
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing on large-scale data systems
Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple sources and environments
Collaborate with data engineers and developers to identify and resolve defects in data workflows
Develop automated test scripts for data validation using tools like PyTest, Selenium, or custom frameworks
Ensure compliance with data quality standards and document test results for audit purposes
Analyze root causes of data discrepancies and provide actionable recommendations
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of data testing methodologies, including ETL and data migration testing
Proficiency in SQL for data validation and query-based testing
Hands-on experience with Python or other scripting languages for automation
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and big data technologies
Experience with testing tools and frameworks for data validation and automation
Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and data services
Ability to analyze large datasets and troubleshoot data-related issues effectively
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
