Job Description:

We are looking for an Offshore Construction Supervisor for one of our clients. Work location: OFFSHORE – Qatar. Duration: 1 year. Work Scheme: Rotational 4 weeks ON / 4 weeks OFF.

Job Responsibility:

  • Be the construction representative on site
  • To liaise on daily basis with Head of Construction
  • To oversee the contractor teams and material follow up
  • To be active in site works preparation: Job Card, MoS, Lifting Plan, permit to work
  • Supervise site construction activities, meeting quality and safety requirements
  • Participate to be the elaboration of 5 Weeks Look ahead Planning
  • Ensure correct reporting Doha office and to Site Manager (daily and weekly reports)
  • Ensure that RFM Process is followed
  • Ensure that final documentation is updated to reflect site condition
  • Supervise Pre-commissioning activities and formalize handover dossier to Field Operations
  • Participate to pre-job, planning, and coordination and PTW meetings
  • Coordinate with site personnel and mainly Site Manager (RSES)
  • Checking organization and permit to work system application
  • Liaise with Doha for assistance
  • Perform required site surveys
  • Make necessary arbitration between different disciplines, in order to have a safe, coherent, and homogeneous works in all disciplines and to complete the job on time

Requirements:

  • Mechanical Degree
  • Minimum 5 years in field supervision activity
  • HSE consciousness
  • Able to coordinate all related interfaces
  • Practical sense, autonomous, rigorous
  • Relationship management (co-ordination) with company Production & Maintenance and teams
  • Ability to work under pressure and stressing conditions
  • Fluent in English
