Position Overview: The scope will focus on works for the construction of an artificial island in the North Sea to support European energy ambitions, including oversight of key civil and marine activities on-site.
Job Responsibility
Day-to-day management and coordination of client representatives and project engineers for offshore construction activities, including rebar, formwork and concreting, revetment rock works, and harbour outfitting
Health, safety, and environmental supervision of contractor operations, with direct support from dedicated HSE and onshore teams
Quality control and progress reporting, in line with agreed methods, risk assessments, and procedures
Staffing plan development, recruitment, and integration of client representatives with support from the works and project management teams
Serve as single point of contact at the site for contractor engagement
Identification of risks and opportunities, with proactive development of mitigation plans
Requirements
Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in a civil construction environment
Track record in offshore sector preferred
working knowledge of structural and corrosion protection and additional disciplines such as Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecom, Mechanical considered advantageous
Engineering degree, preferably civil engineering
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
demonstrated ability to work in a structured, fast-paced environment
Excellent MS Office skills
knowledge of ACONEX highly regarded
Relevant medical (e.g., NOGEPA), BOSIET or equivalent certification, and boat landing training required
