Job Responsibility

Setting up, converting, and operating offset printing presses.
Monitoring and optimizing the production process to achieve the most efficient result possible.
Conducting precise quality controls on the printed matter and reporting any deviations.
Identifying and resolving minor technical malfunctions and performing basic maintenance on the machines.

Requirements

Experience level: Senior. At least 5 years expercience..
You have a passion for printing techniques and, therefore, an eye for the smallest details.
You work meticulously and have a strong sense of responsibility for the final product.
You function excellently in a team, but can also carry out your tasks independently.
You are open to learning about new techniques and processes.
You are willing to work in a three-shift system (3 ploegen).

Examine, test and measure product from assigned equipment for quality specifications, using appropriate gauges and instruments and record date.
Perform Preventative Maintenance inspection of assigned equipment, report findings and take appropriate action. Perform maintenance work orders as required.
Notify supervisor of any incidences of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action taken and of any poor-quality material or supplies noted.
