Job Description:

The Officer-Loss Prevention role involves patrolling the property, monitoring safety systems, responding to incidents, assisting guests, and ensuring safety and security measures are upheld. The position requires physical ability, clear communication skills, and adherence to company policies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Patrol all areas of the property
  • Assist guests with room access
  • Respond to accidents and administer first aid/CPR as required
  • Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems
  • Conduct daily physical hazard inspections
  • Notify appropriate individuals in incidents
  • Defuse guest/employee disturbances
  • Complete incident reports
  • Resolve safety hazard situations
  • Escort unwelcome persons
  • Report vehicle accidents or thefts
  • Complete Loss Prevention reports
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence
  • Conduct interviews with relevant parties
  • Comply with company policies and procedures
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are professional
  • Protect company assets
  • Assist guests with service needs
  • Speak clearly and professionally
  • Maintain confidentiality of Security/Loss Prevention information.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • No related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, and over 75 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to respond quickly to work situations
  • Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
  • Ability to inspect tools, equipment, or machines visually
  • Knowledge of safety procedures
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Ability to read and verify information in small print formats
  • Ability to enter and locate work-related data in computer systems
  • Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
