Job Description:

The role of Officer-Loss Prevention includes patrolling the property, assisting guests and staff during emergencies, monitoring safety systems, resolving safety hazards, and maintaining confidentiality related to security incidents. The position requires physical activity, clear communication, and adherence to company standards.

Job Responsibility:

Patrol all areas of the property
assist guests with room access
monitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system
conduct daily physical hazard inspections
respond to accidents and administer first aid/CPR as required
notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents or incidents
defuse guest/employee disturbances
resolve safety hazard situations
handle interruptions and complaints
escort unwelcome persons from the property
complete incident reports and shift summaries
maintain confidentiality of Security/Loss Prevention reports
conduct investigations and gather evidence
develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
comply with quality assurance standards
move and lift objects as required
perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
ability to patrol all areas of the property
ability to assist guests with room access
ability to monitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system
ability to conduct daily physical hazard inspections
ability to respond to accidents and administer first aid/CPR as required
ability to notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents or incidents
ability to defuse guest/employee disturbances
ability to handle interruptions and complaints
ability to resolve safety hazard situations
ability to move objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance
no related work experience required
ability to comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
ability to conduct interviews and investigations
ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
ability to perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
