Job Description:

Loss Prevention Officer position at Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel & Casino responsible for property security, guest safety, emergency response, and maintaining a secure environment through patrols, monitoring systems, and incident management.

Job Responsibility:

Patrol all areas of the property
Assist guests with room access
Monitor security systems (CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, fire life safety)
Lock property entrances when required
Conduct daily physical hazard inspections
Respond to accidents and contact EMS
Administer first aid/CPR as required
Assist guests/employees during emergency situations
Notify appropriate individuals of incidents
Defuse guest/employee disturbances
Complete incident reports
Handle interruptions and complaints
Resolve safety hazard situations
Escort unwelcome persons from property
Report to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts
Conduct investigations and gather evidence
Conduct interviews with relevant parties

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
Ability to patrol property areas
Monitor security systems (CCTV, alarms, fire safety)
Respond to emergencies and administer first aid/CPR
Handle guest/employee disturbances
Complete incident reports
Conduct investigations and gather evidence
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
Read and visually verify information
Use computers and point of sale systems
Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
