Job Description:

Officer role in cheque processing operations within HSBC's Group Chief Operating Officer division, responsible for ensuring efficient and compliant cheque processing operations while working with internal stakeholders and maintaining operational controls.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure Domestic Cheque and International cheque operations are completed under tight processing time windows
Ensure all internal procedures are up-to-date and operations comply with group policies and regulatory requirements
Escalate incidents to management in a timely manner
Prepare accurate monthly reports for billing and management reporting
Conduct periodic reviews on existing controls to contain operational risk
Assist in process streamlining initiatives, project implementation and conduct User Acceptance Test (UAT)
Liaison with internal stakeholders
Report potential Financial Crime Activities
Handle and complete ad-hoc assigned tasks on time

Requirements:

Experience in administration and operations within sizable companies
Open to fresh graduates
Shift duty is required with shift allowance
Strong analytical and independent problem solving
Ability to work under pressure and attention to details
Excellent communication in a team environment
Project Management skill, Vendor Management skill and Transformation skill will be a plus
