Job Description:

The Institutional Credit Management (ICM) group is seeking an entry-level Product Development professional, focused on Business Analytics. This person will work closely with various business functions and technology on multiple fronts to help execute strategic goals. ICM has been established with the objective to provide an integrated “end-to-end” credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management and monitoring for wholesale credit businesses across the enterprise.

Job Responsibility:

Integrates in-depth data analysis knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices
Demonstrates a good understanding of how data analytics teams and area integrate with others in accomplishing objectives
Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies
Analyzes factual information to make accurate judgments and recommendations focused on local operations and broader impacts
Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results breaking down information in a systematic and communicable manner
Employs developed communication and diplomacy skills to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information
Demonstrates attention to quality and timeliness of service to ensure the effectiveness of the team and group
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Requirements:

Advanced knowledge of programing languages (Python, R, VBA, SQL)
Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau
Experience in UI design
Strong written and verbal English skills
2-4 years of experience (including internships) in reporting or equivalent experience
Bachelor’s university degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field
Basic knowledge of financial markets
Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports that support decisions making
Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet target dates
Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results

Nice to have:

Experience in UI design
Basic knowledge of financial markets
