Sierra Pacific Industries is seeking a qualified Office Support / Transportation person. This is a great opportunity to work with the Sierra Pacific team at our main office in Anderson, California. Job Responsibility:
Support Rail Coordinator in day-to-day tasks, including monitoring of railcars for all our sawmills
Input rail car pricing accurately and timely to ensure Sales Team has the correct information as soon as possible
Assist Rail Coordinator, Sales Team, and sawmill personnel to ensure correct routing of all rail car orders
Accurate and timely data entry into multiple computer programs and spreadsheets
Consistently trace loads
Ensure shipping export containers arrive in a timely manner
Quickly and efficiently answer multi-line phone calls and direct messages to appropriate personnel
Respond to vendor questions on current invoices, past due invoices, and statements
Prepare transportation contracts and other documents
Requirements:
Excellent and verifiable work references from prior employers and supervisors
At least six months of recent office experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to enter data accurately and timely
A proven team player who interacts positively and professionally with coworkers
Must be able to consistently balance multiple tasks and priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Be punctual, dependable, and organized
Ability to work with multiple computer applications while talking with carriers
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
