Job Description:

We are looking to add an Office Specialist II at Baptist Orthopedics, located at Baptist Clay in Fleming Island, FL. This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity, and will report to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. As the Office Specialist II, you will provide business services for patients and the healthcare system. You will handle patient registration, posting charges and payments, and telephone protocols. There are 5 providers in this office.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting patients as needed
  • Reviewing and following up on unpaid insurance claims
  • Processing mail on a daily basis
  • Working with insurance carriers and Baptist Primary Care Centers
  • Check in and check out
  • Assisting with referrals as needed
  • Scanning documents

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • One-Two Years Front Desk Experience Preferred
  • Experience Working in a Medical Office Preferred

Nice to have:

Associate's Degree
