*Eligible for Up to $1,000 Sign-On Bonus* Baptist Medical Center is hiring an Office Specialist I for the Behavioral Health Outpatient Department located at our Pone Vedra Beach campus. This is a Full Time days opportunity working M-F from 8:30am to 5:00pm in office. The Office Specialist will support the Behavioral Health Department to accurately register all patients and update demographic and insurance information for maintenance of accurate information. This position requires an individual who can multitask and obtains excellent written and verbal communication, organizational skills and a previous experience in clerical work. Job Responsibility:

  • Providing business services for patients and the healthcare system
  • Ensuring accurate patient registration
  • Posting patient charges and payments
  • Operating a multi-line phone system while maintaining telephone protocols
  • Assisting patients as needed

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years Front Desk Experience
  • Experience working in a Medical Office
  • High School Diploma (required)
  • Associate of Arts/Science (preferred)
