We are looking for a dedicated Office Services Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Los Angeles, California. This role involves providing front desk reception coverage, handling administrative tasks, and supporting various office functions to ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask effectively while delivering excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Welcome and assist guests, ensuring a detail-oriented and friendly experience
Provide front desk reception support during lunch hours, managing inquiries and directing calls
Perform administrative tasks such as scanning documents, organizing files, and maintaining office supplies
Handle mailroom duties, including sorting, distributing, and processing incoming and outgoing mail
Operate office equipment to print and copy materials as needed
Prepare and set up conference rooms for meetings and events
Offer short-term coverage for various office roles as required
Answer and manage inbound calls using a multi-line phone system, directing them appropriately
Collaborate with team members to support day-to-day office operations
Requirements:
Proven experience in receptionist or office support roles
Proficiency in document scanning and handling mailroom tasks
Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and answering inbound calls
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to set up conference rooms for events and meetings
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Capability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Availability for short-term assignments and flexibility to adapt to various tasks
