This individual will play a critical role in overseeing daily office operations, supporting partners and tax professionals, and ensuring the office runs efficiently—especially during high-volume periods like tax season. Job Responsibility:
Oversee daily office operations and ensure a professional, organized work environment
Support partners and tax staff with scheduling, client coordination, and administrative needs
Manage workflow coordination during peak tax season, helping to prioritize deadlines and deliverables
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries with professionalism and discretion
Coordinate document management, including secure handling of sensitive financial information
Maintain office procedures and improve operational efficiencies
Manage office vendors, supplies, and facilities-related needs
Assist with onboarding logistics and support basic HR and payroll coordination
Track office expenses and assist with budgeting
Requirements:
4+ years of office management or senior administrative experience, ideally within a tax, accounting, or financial services firm
Experience supporting multiple stakeholders in a deadline-driven environment (tax season experience highly preferred)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook)
High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential financial information
Excellent communication and client service skills
Nice to have:
Familiarity with tax workflows, filing deadlines, or accounting processes
Experience with document management systems or tax software (e.g., Lacerte, ProSeries, or similar)
Exposure to bookkeeping, invoicing, or basic accounting support
