Job Responsibility:
Maintain accurate records of absences, sick leave, and holidays
Address patterns of lateness or absence with appropriate follow-ups
Support compliance with UK employment law
Assist with employment contracts and onboarding documentation
Act as a point of contact for staff queries, escalating when necessary
Manage recruitment and onboarding
Support performance reviews and staff development
Work alongside the existing Office Manager on planning, logistics, and team events
Coordinate office maintenance and liaise with service providers
Assist in implementing and monitoring health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
Proven experience in an office management role
CIPD Level 3 (People Practice) is a strong advantage
Sound knowledge of UK employment law
Office Management qualifications preferred
Excellent communication skills, especially in handling sensitive matters
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Able to manage multiple priorities calmly and effectively
