We are looking for a detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee administrative operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office in Bethesda, Maryland. The ideal candidate will support daily office activities, coordinate events, and provide essential back-office assistance. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.
Job Responsibility:
Manage day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure seamless office operations
Organize and coordinate office events, meetings, and schedules
Provide back-office support by maintaining records, tracking documents, and ensuring data accuracy
Assist in collecting and processing payments, as well as following up on outstanding balances
Support team members with administrative needs, including preparing reports and managing correspondence
Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed to maintain inventory
Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal staff to address inquiries or resolve issues
Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures while identifying opportunities for process improvements
Requirements:
Proven experience in administrative or office management roles
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Proficiency in basic office software and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to handle financial tasks such as collecting payments and managing outstanding balances
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Experience coordinating events or managing schedules is preferred
