We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee day-to-day administrative operations in our office located in Hyattsville, Maryland. This is a contract to permanent position, offering the opportunity to transition into a long-term role based on performance. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth office functionality while managing supplies, accounts payable, and receptionist duties.
Job Responsibility:
Manage daily administrative tasks to ensure the office runs efficiently
Coordinate the ordering and replenishment of office supplies to maintain adequate stock levels
Oversee the organization and maintenance of office supplies and equipment
Process accounts payable transactions with accuracy and timeliness
Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, handling receptionist duties with attention to detail
Assist in organizing office workflows and documentation
Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly office environment
Support team members with administrative needs and requests
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all office operations
Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth communication and coordination
Requirements:
Proven experience in administrative office management or a similar role
Strong ability to order, track, and manage office supplies effectively
Familiarity with accounts payable processes and tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for receptionist duties
Proficiency in organizational and multitasking abilities
Knowledge of office equipment and general administrative practices
