Small Firm seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations and support the overall efficiency of the firm. This role will start with a primary focus on office administration, with the opportunity to gradually take on bookkeeping responsibilities over time.
Job Responsibility
Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient work environment
Serve as the main point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and visitors
Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments for leadership and staff
Maintain office supplies, vendor relationships, and general office organization
Assist with project documentation, filing systems, and internal processes
Support onboarding of new employees and general HR administration
Gradually take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping functions over time
Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing
Track expenses, invoices, and project-related financial data
Support payroll and timesheet processing
Work with external accountant or leadership on financial reporting
Requirements
3+ years of office management or administrative experience, preferably in a professional services environment
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and general office systems
Experience with bookkeeping or accounting software is a plus (QuickBooks or similar)
Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
Ability to work independently and take initiative
