We are seeking a highly organized, resourceful, and professional Office Manager to oversee day-to-day office operations and serve as the front-of-house presence for employees, guests, and vendors. This role is ideal for someone who can take ownership of the office environment, manage competing priorities, and handle sensitive matters with discretion. This is a contract position with the potential to transition into a contract to hire role.
Job Responsibility
Run the daily operations of the office for a team of approximately 50–60 employees onsite
Serve as the main point of contact and welcoming face for employees, guests, and deliveries
Manage front-of-house responsibilities, including answering and directing phone calls
Oversee facilities management and coordinate building maintenance issues with the landlord
Receive and track office-related tickets from employees and help ensure timely resolution
Order, maintain, and conduct physical inventory of office supplies
Manage a high volume of office deliveries and ensure proper receipt/distribution
Ensure shared office spaces are organized, stocked, and fully functional
Keep coffee machines stocked and maintained
Help oversee kitchen and breakroom upkeep, including making sure the dishwasher is run as needed
Support the onboarding process, including workstation and seating coordination for new hires
Assist with office events and event planning logistics
Provide general administrative and basic accounts support as needed
Requirements
Previous experience in an Office Manager or similar administrative/office operations role
Strong ability to work independently, investigate issues, and be highly resourceful
Professional front-of-house presence with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment with frequent interruptions and deliveries
