We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee the administrative, operational, and employee-related functions of a growing organization in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this Contract to permanent opportunity, you will work closely with leadership to ensure smooth office operations, foster a collaborative work environment, and support the needs of approximately 50-100 employees. This role is vital in maintaining efficiency and promoting a culture of excellence.
Job Responsibility:
Manage all aspects of the recruiting process, including job postings, candidate screening, coordinating interviews, and conducting reference checks
Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, including IT setup, workstation preparation, documentation, and exit interviews
Administer payroll, oversee employee benefits such as health insurance and 401(k), and ensure compliance with government reporting requirements
Maintain and enforce company policies, including updates to the employee handbook and adherence to labor laws
Oversee procurement and inventory management for office supplies, kitchen items, raw materials, and equipment
Coordinate office facilities needs, including liaising with landlords, maintenance teams, cleaning services, and security providers
Manage vendor relationships, including IT support, contractors, and service providers
Organize internal events, team-building activities, and company celebrations to foster a positive and engaging work culture
Provide scheduling, travel coordination, and meeting preparation support to leadership
Assist with operational tasks such as reviewing billing and quotes to ensure accuracy
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in office management, human resources administration, or a similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace
Familiarity with payroll and benefits systems and accounting systems such as Sage Intacct, QuickBooks or NetSuite
Solid understanding of local, state, and federal labor laws
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence to handle sensitive employee relations
High level of discretion and a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving
Nice to have:
Experience with inventory controls, purchasing activities, and vendor management is a plus
