We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to oversee administrative operations and manage core accounting functions in our Fort Collins, Colorado office. This contract position is ideal for someone with strong organizational and financial skills who excels at managing office workflows and ensuring seamless day-to-day activities. Job Responsibility:
Supervise daily administrative activities to maintain smooth office operations
Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor management and invoice processing
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and bank statements
Process payroll and manage employee expense reports while ensuring compliance with payroll regulations
Assist with preparing budgets, financial reports, and closing procedures for monthly, quarterly, and yearly periods
Prepare and file financial statements and required documents accurately and on time
Implement and monitor internal accounting controls to comply with company policies and regulations
Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor contracts efficiently
Provide support to executive leadership by handling ad hoc projects and generating reports as needed
Utilize accounting software and office technology to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting
Requirements:
Proven experience in an Office Manager or Bookkeeper role with accounting responsibilities
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle NetSuite, or similar platforms
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and payroll processing
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to adapt to dynamic work environments and prioritize tasks
High level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information
