Job Description:

Office Manager position for a 6-month fixed-term contract with an innovative entertainment company with a social purpose. Role involves managing daily office operations, budget oversight, facilities management, staff support, health and safety compliance, and event coordination.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensuring smooth operation of the office
  • Managing daily operations of a dynamic organisation
  • Creating calm from chaos
  • Becoming a trusted liaison for leaders

Requirements:

  • Manage day-to-day office activities including scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping
  • Act as a central point of contact for internal queries and external correspondence
  • Successfully manage a complex office move
  • Oversee the office budget, process invoices and expenses, and manage financial transactions
  • Maintain office equipment, order stationery and supplies, and handle facility issues
  • Supervise administrative staff and support HR functions such as onboarding and appraisals
  • Coordinate staff activities to foster a collaborative environment
  • Ensure office policies and procedures are updated and compliant with health and safety regulations
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements
  • Plan large scale company events including Christmas party
  • Assist with the logistics of any complex office moves
  • Build and nurture relationships across the organisation
  • Manage inboxes and calendars with precision and tact
