We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to join our team in Wayzata, Minnesota. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic office environment and is passionate about ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The role combines receptionist responsibilities with office management tasks, offering a diverse range of duties. Hours: M, T, W 8AM - 5PM
Job Responsibility:
Manage daily office operations, including organizing mail, scanning documents, and distributing them to appropriate team members
Oversee inventory and coordinate orders for office supplies, breakroom essentials, and special equipment requests
Handle reception duties three days a week, creating a welcoming environment for visitors and employees
Coordinate catering for weekly lunches, as well as in-house and off-site events, meetings, and luncheons
Act as the primary contact for landlords, property managers, and vendors to ensure effective office operations
Assist with budget creation and ongoing management for office-related expenses
Facilitate space planning and intra-office moves to optimize workspace utilization
Requirements:
Proven experience in office management or administrative roles, preferably in a detail-oriented services environment
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Proficiency in handling reception duties and managing office supplies
Familiarity with accounts payable processes and scanning/distributing invoices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with vendors and employees
Ability to coordinate events, catering, and intra-office moves efficiently
Experience managing budgets and implementing operational improvements
Proficiency with office equipment and software tools commonly used in administrative settings
