We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to oversee financial operations, human resources, information systems, and facilities management in Edina, Minnesota. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong organizational and leadership skills to manage key functions such as bookkeeping, payroll, and employee development. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations and long-term strategic planning.
Job Responsibility:
Manage multi-state payroll processes, including handling commissions and benefit deferrals
Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable operations, including manual check processing
Monitor cash flow, execute bank transfers, and perform reconciliations for accounts and general ledgers
Prepare annual budgets and develop recommendations for technology investments
Ensure compliance with trust accounting practices across multiple accounts
Lead recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training initiatives to support employee development
Administer employee benefits programs and oversee renewals, vendor evaluations, and compliance testing
Research, purchase, and maintain computer hardware and software, coordinating with external IT providers as needed
Manage office operations, including space planning, vendor relationships, and facility maintenance
Document meeting minutes, prepare agendas, and support leadership with special projects
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
Proficiency in bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting
Familiarity with payroll systems such as Paychex and benefits administration
Ability to prepare annual budgets and financial projections
Experience with legal billing and accounting systems that require a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
Knowledge of onboarding processes and employee development strategies
