We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to join a team in Newtown, Pennsylvania. This is a long-term contract position requiring a dedicated individual to oversee daily office operations, manage administrative tasks, and ensure efficient workflow. The role combines on-site work for four days a week with one day remote, offering a dynamic hybrid schedule.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate and manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring all processes run smoothly
Handle receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and directing incoming calls professionally
Oversee inventory and proactively order office supplies to maintain stock levels
Manage accounts payable processes, including verifying invoices and coordinating timely payments
Support the team by organizing and maintaining office files and records
Ensure compliance with business policies and procedures in all administrative activities
Collaborate with staff to address operational challenges and implement solutions
Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and coordinating logistics
Monitor office equipment and arrange repairs or replacements as necessary
Provide general administrative support to ensure the team operates efficiently
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an office management or administrative role
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with inventory management and ordering office supplies
Ability to handle receptionist duties with professionalism and courtesy
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other standard office software
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
