Job Description

This is not your average Office Manager position. It's a strategic, operational, people-focused, and hands-on leadership role that touches nearly every part of the business - from warehouse workflow to HR, from systems to sales support, and from compliance to coffee machine maintenance (yes, really).

Job Responsibility

  • Overseeing the smooth running of both office and warehouse operations
  • Managing and supporting teams across admin, sales support, and logistics
  • Coordinating workflows, rotas, and holiday cover
  • Leading on HR tasks such as recruitment, onboarding, and training
  • Driving process improvements and implementing operational policies
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and other regulatory requirements
  • Managing facilities, equipment, and supplier relationships
  • Supporting financial processes including expenses and budget prep
  • Acting as the first point of contact for IT, systems, and website issues
  • Assisting with marketing activities and internal communications
  • Providing ad-hoc support to senior leadership and covering key roles during absence

Requirements

  • Experience in an office management, operations, or team leadership role
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Excellent communication and people management abilities
  • Confidence with systems and software (Microsoft Office is essential
  • Sage is a bonus)
