We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to oversee day-to-day administrative operations and help keep a busy service-focused workplace running smoothly. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who is highly organized, confident supporting leadership, and comfortable managing a wide range of office priorities in an onsite Monday through Friday environment. The person in this role will contribute to workforce support efforts for a large employee population, coordinate essential office functions, and serve as a dependable point of contact for both internal teams and customer-related matters.
Job Responsibility
Direct daily office activities to promote efficient workflows and strong coordination across departments
Provide administrative support to executive leadership, including assistance with workforce-related operations for more than 150 employees
Review, prepare, and process invoices accurately while helping maintain organized financial documentation
Assist with project-based assignments by tracking tasks, organizing materials, and supporting deadlines
Respond to and help resolve customer service concerns in a thoughtful and timely manner
Maintain confidential files, preserve accurate records, and support compliance activities such as audit preparation
Oversee front office functions, including reception coverage, communication flow, and general administrative support
Monitor office inventory and arrange purchases to ensure supplies and essential materials remain stocked
Requirements
At least 3 years of administrative or office management experience in a detail-oriented setting
Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday in Manassas, Virginia
Strong background in general office administration, scheduling, and daily operational support
Experience handling accounts payable tasks, including invoice processing and record maintenance
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications for communication, reporting, and document preparation
Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage issues calmly and effectively
Nice to have
Spanish language skills are a plus
Previous experience working in a service-based company is preferred
